BACKSTORY: He was born somewhere in ND, the product of his father Mason and mother Katlyn's brief fling. Shortly after breaking up with Mason, his mother began dating a man named Mike, who she thought was the father of her baby, instead of just staying with one guy for 5 minutes. That relationship soon ended as well cuz she picked such stellar guys, and Mike rarely paid attention (or child support) to his presumed son. At age 4, Tucker lost his mother after she failed to wake up after a wisdom tooth extraction. The state planned to send Tucker to his father, but after a paternity test was done, they found that Mike wasn't the boy's father, so basically it was like the Maury show. After questioning his mother's friends, they found out about Mason and contacted him, and he was found to be the boy's father after another paternity test was done. Though not wishing to be a father (instead of using a condom), Mason took the child in. Shortly after, he realized his girlfriend was becoming resentful of this intrusion, and he sent Tucker to live with his grandmother because apparently his vagina was more important than his child. Mason remained active in his son's life, and all was well until 2015, when Tucker was molested in a bathroom while out with a family friend. Feeling the abuse was a punishment for Mason's earlier treatment of his son, he took back guardianship of him. Unbeknownst to Mason, the abuser was the grandfather of Tucker's best friend, and he was abused several more times. In 2016, he was hit by a car and suffered severe pelvic injuries, requiring removal of much of his intestines, and he had to be fitted with a colostomy bag. The relationship started out well, but Lila became very abusive and controlling several months into it, and TJ finally left in 2014.
